The College of the Canyons Book Fair invites authors and upcoming creative writers to indulge in their passions, from children’s books to adult fantasy.
This fair even showcases movie producers who want to enter the chapter realm, word for word.
“I came here to promote my presales of my book, The Last Rocket Man,” said Dan Schlund, an author at the event.
Showcasing these written works of art is a process for most and a challenge for some, but one in particular is just getting started.
“We’re looking towards the steps of publishing, so if we can get it published and into a physical book,” said Dean Leever, a College of the Canyons student interested in becoming a published author.
“That would be so awesome,” said Leever.
Events like these unite the community, as there is something for everyone. Aliens, food recipes, and books are widely available.
Even if you’re in a pinch and must catch up on that last chapter of your favorite series, the Library can come to you.
