Students, faculty and friends gathered at the COC art gallery Thursday night to enjoy a combination of film photography and digital photography exhibits.
“I want people to be able to feel inspired and connect with my art,” COC student Sam Miranda said. “My art is something that speaks levels about who I am. ‘Misconception’ is a piece about how I perceive myself and I hope that my art can speak for itself and touch people who need it most.”
The art exhibition is open for public viewing and the next exhibition will be held in May for students from all visual arts classes. Until then, the art gallery is open Monday through Thursday from noon to 4 p.m.
