The 2018 mid-term election had more millennial voters than ever before.
Cougar News reporter Sophia Lesseos asked students at College of the Canyons how it made them feel to be able to have their voice heard.
Most of the students were excited to be able to have that right to vote and felt like they had “a lot of power.”
One of the millennials felt like their generation was participating more than ever before, especially on social media and talking about the importance of voting.
Our college was even there to help students find out more about the propositions and what they meant.
This showed that the importance of voting reached even the younger generation and was able to give them a chance to get their voice out there.
