With the holiday season just around the corner, The Boys and Girls Club of Santa Clarita hosted their 21st annual Festival of Trees auction. An event that makes this season more merry and bright.
“Festival of Trees is a fundraiser that supports the Boys & Girls Club of the Santa Clarita Valley,” said Matt Nelson, CEO of the SCV chapter of the Boys and Girls Club.
“What we are doing is auctioning off amazing, beautifully designed trees, gingerbread houses, and wreaths,” said Nelson.
“All designed by volunteers that spent countless hours putting it all together,” said Nelson.
Guests of the event not only find joy in the event kicking off the holiday season but also that it makes a difference in the lives of the kids they are supporting.
“When we all get together to take care of a bigger cause, that’s what makes a Community,” said Ingrid Boydston, an attendee of the festival.
“I hope that guests leave enjoying their evening as well as knowing that they’re making a difference in the lives of kids here in Santa Clarita,” said Nelson.
