On Thursday, March 8 at the COC Canyon Country campus students from the Associated Student government hosted a sunset viewing party called Sunset Smiles.
As students gathered outside the Takeda science center they were welcomed by food, laughter, arts and crafts, and ironically, a not-so-sunny sunset.
“I wanted to go ahead and get a feel of what a Senior Sunset would look like.” Said Kimberly Lopez, Vice President of Activities for the Canyon Country Associated Student Government. “But this time I wanted to experience it with all of my community college friends and all of my transfer friends as well.”
