A deputy-involved shooting has been reported at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station Sunday.

Shortly before 2:30 P.M. Sunday a deputy-involved shooting occurred at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station parking lot. One male suspect was struck, and no deputies were injured, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The incident prompted closure of eastbound Magic Mountain Parkway between Valencia Blvd and Citrus. The closure will be held for an unknown amount of time as deputies and detectives gain information from the scene.
